Results on BAliBase "ref1"This page summarizes the results of OMA and comparable programs on the reference1 subset of BAliBASE. These data sets do not contain more than eight sequences which makes them suitable as test sets for OMA. For more information on the data sets, see here. You can browse through detailed measurements over the iteration steps of the oma runs. The resulting alignments are also shown.
Where the alignment cost of the 'oma' or 'oma2' run was less then the cost of the run with 'msa' we emphasized the the cost. 'msa' sometimes ended with an segmentation fault ('SegF') or bus error ('BusE'). The maximum addressable memory of 2GB per process sometimes forced msa to abort (marked with '>2GB'). We aborted runs that lasted longer then 12 hours ('>12h'). The machine for all runs was: You may download the results as a text file.
